Brampton College has partnered with Aureus University School of Medicine, located at Oranjestad, Aruba for highly motivated students pursuing a career in Medicine. Aureus University of Medicine is rapidly becoming an international leader in medical education.
The Pre-Medical Program ensures that students receive a complete medical pre-requisite education and a firm foundation for advancement in their future medical studies. MCAT is NOT required for students who graduate from the Pre-Medical Diploma program. Students who successfully graduate from the Pre-Medical program continue their medicine degree with Aureus University’s 4 year MD program.
This strategic and exclusive affiliation allows students to complete the minimum 90 course credit hours of the Pre-Medical program requirements in one year. These course credits are transferable to Aureus University and are a requirement to be qualified for Aureus’s 4 year MD program.
- MCAT is not required for students completing the joint Pre-Med program at Brampton College.
- High School graduates applying for the Pre-Medical Program will be evaluated based on their high school performance. Emphasis will be placed on advance placement and advanced level courses, extracurricular activities and performance on standardized examinations.
- To complete the application process candidates must submit:
- Official Transcripts
- Personal Essay
- Two Letters of Recommendation – one of which should preferably be written by health care professional. Each individual application is reviewed and followed by an interview with the applicant. Not only do we look at the personal characteristics of each candidate and their academic background, but most importantly, their motivation to become a doctor.
